My Story
Background & Experience
I am a Level 3 registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA) and hold a Master of Counselling, reflecting advanced clinical training and experience. I work with adults seeking depth, clarity, healing, and a more satisfying way of living.
Beyond formal qualifications, my life experience shapes how I support clients. As a former elite gymnast, I understand resilience and working constructively with fear. Migrating to a new country deepened my understanding of identity, adaptation, and rebuilding. Personal loss strengthened my appreciation of grief and the courage required to begin again. These experiences ground my work in both professional expertise and genuine steadiness.
Who I Work With
People often reach out when something no longer feels manageable. Anxiety feels louder. Grief hurts. Life feels heavy. Sleep is disrupted. Familiar relationship patterns keep repeating.
I support adults experiencing anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, grief, burnout, and relational difficulties. Many of the people I work with manage significant responsibilities outwardly while privately feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Others feel stuck, uncertain, or exhausted from coping in the same old ways.
What We Work Toward
Together, we focus on meaningful change at a pace that feels safe and sustainable. I integrate evidence-based methods with a deeply human, relational approach – offering a space for reflection, self-discovery, and practical skill-building. Clients often describe our work as both gentle and effective, with an emphasis on developing emotional safety and self-compassion.
- Together, therapy may support you in:
- Managing anxiety, panic, and emotional overwhelm
- Sleeping more consistently and feeling steadier in daily life
- Strengthening boundaries and improving relationship patterns
- Processing grief, trauma, or significant life transitions
- Building resilience and confidence, and feeling clearer about your next steps
Therapeutic Approach
I draw from Internal Family Systems, trauma-informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, existential psychotherapy, and body-based approaches. My work combines practical, evidence-based strategies with thoughtful exploration of emotional and nervous system patterns.
Sessions are structured yet relational. Short-term work may focus on stabilisation and symptom relief. Longer-term work allows space for deeper processing, trauma integration, and meaningful shifts in identity, relationships, and emotional patterns.
My aim is to help you feel calmer, think more clearly, and respond to challenges with greater confidence and flexibility – so change shows up not just in insight, but in your daily life.
